Yes, I see what you are trying to do. What YOU are not seeing is that, in the
time you took to create this issue and type all of your replies, you could have
instead committed the alternative fix. And in the time it will take for you to
continue this pointless argument, you could instead put some @Deprecation
annotations on some code and commit them. But you aren't going to invest any
time in an alternative solution, because... I don't know. Many of your commits
make no sense, and this issue continues that tradition.
