We have to keep in mind that applying a fixed asset with a different
output/cost scenario will affect the throughput time and cost calculation. This
will determine on whether profit or loss will be realized.
A means to determine alternatives for a given fixed asset is the capacity of
each alternative. Plus, the location must also be factored in (at the complete
solution). A fixed asset at another facility drives up cost...
