Now that we got JavaDocs working, I think this JIRA is more of a refactoring /
cleanup task than a subtask of Gradle since it is just concerned with cleaning
our JavaDocs and making them compliant with Java standard conventions.
So I suggest making it as a standalone JIRA or part of some refactoring JIRA.
It seems to me to be independent of Gradle I think.
