When you say you mean set max to say 'n' ? Although walking the entire entity
graph seems right until the cycle is detected it has its own challenges in
terms of keeping track of cycle. Also symbolic values for "max" is not required
feature, so it may be simple to leave this at arbitrary number that is
configurable (or overridden by service impl).
