Ronny Bremer commented on OLINGO-737: ------------------------------------- Julien, thank you for providing this patch. I dunno how I could have missed it, raising an issue myself a few years back. See [OLINGO-1303|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OLINGO-1303] In the past we made an ugly hack to support open types for an internal project, but it only worked on Strings. I will take a closer look at your patch and give you feedback. Anyway, I cannot understand why OLingo does not reply to any of our issues regarding open types. Lets hope we can raise some awareness. > Dynamic properties are not serialized > ------------------------------------- > > Key: OLINGO-737 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OLINGO-737 > Project: Olingo > Issue Type: New Feature > Affects Versions: (Java) V4 4.0.0-beta-03 > Reporter: Richard Ellis > Priority: Major > Attachments: OLINGO-737-OData4_ServerOpenTypeSupport.patch > > > As per the message > http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/olingo-user/201507.mbox/%3c55953afa.1000...@linux.vnet.ibm.com%3E > dynamic properties are not serialized. > Specifically the JsonSerializer writeProperties method gets the list of > properties from the EntityType not from the Entity itself. Thus if the Entity > has additional dynamically added org.apache.olingo.commons.api.data.Property > objects they are missed. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005)
