Dear Olingo Team, I hope this email finds you well. My name is Alok , and I am a software engineer currently working on a project that involves upgrading our microservices to Spring 6.1.1 and migrating from HttpClient4 to HttpClient5. As part of this process, we have encountered an issue with the compatibility of odata-client-core with HttpClient5. Upon reviewing the documentation and available versions of odata-client-core, we have found that the latest version, 5.0.0, supports HttpClient4 up to version 4.5.14. Unfortunately, this presents a compatibility issue for our project, as we are required to use HttpClient5 with Spring 6.1.1. We understand that maintaining compatibility with various dependencies can be challenging, and we greatly appreciate the effort put forth by the Olingo team in developing and maintaining the odata-client-core library. We would like to inquire about any plans or timelines for releasing a newer version of odata-client-core that supports HttpClient5. Additionally, if there are any workarounds or suggestions that you could provide to help us address this compatibility issue in the meantime, it would be immensely helpful for our project. Please note that we are reaching out to you independently and are not disclosing the name of our organization. We value the privacy and confidentiality of our projects and would appreciate your discretion in this matter. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to your response.
