Hi All, In that case I will close the issue requesting the stakeholder to wait for release 1.1.0 and we will go ahead with a new branch only if the fix is needed urgently (a blocker).
Anyhow I wanted to know the process that we need to follow in future. In future my opinion is, creating a new branch for maintenance/patch release makes sense provided the issue is a blocker and the next major/minor release is quiet far.
