Apache Git repositories on GitHub are just read-only mirrors - of course we
will enable it! :)
In case you feel more comfortable on developing using Git, you'll have to
submit a plain-old-patch to JIRA - IIRC pull request generates the patch as
well - then someone with commit rights will take care to apply them.
