IMHO the Lifecycle module needs a deep review, I have some notes but haven't found the time to send due to lack of time... To make it simple, what we could do would be releasing a -beta1 version, so you and other guy can play with it and fix in a later release whatever needs to be fixed - WDYT? Does it sound reasonable?
