Hi Dave,

Well it's not as simple as that -- 5.5.x is actively maintained, as are 6.x and 
7.x. They are *different* architectures, hence, just "upgrading to a newer 
version" won't necessarily work (as you noticed with 6 versus 7). BTW, I (and 
others) still actively use 5.5.x :)
