Yep, fair comment. What, specifically, were you looking for? I saw in your 
other email you mentioned research papers. Anything else? We can probably just 
add back the XDOCS and pointers to the website fairly easily. Could you file a 
JIRA issue [1] to track that?

Sure, no problem. Once I know specifically what you can't find (but can find on 
the Way Back Machine) that'll help recreate it. Feel free to put the 
information on JIRA.
