Hi all, I'd like to start expanding the functionality of the OODT opendapps module to allow parsing of additional metadata from multiple sources, i.e. THREDDS catalogs, DAS/DDS data streams, and NcML documents, when available. This is needed by the CMDS (Coastal Marine Discovery Service) project, which is a project undergoing at JPL to create a portal environment to allow indexing of multiple coastal observational datasets, and visualization via GIS (see http://cmds.jpl.nasa.gov/cmds for more information).
If nobody objects, I will start creating proposed patches in the Jira system about expanding the opendapps functionality. thanks a lot, Luca
