I hope no one minds.... Before the repo get filled up with any accidental commits or random junk I've added a .gitignore file to the repo to exclude java build artifacts, maven build junk, intellij files and eclipse stuff.
If thats against policy or something just revert it, I won't be offended, but if no one is offended, consider it a public service, and if any one has any other files I've missed, just add them to the list. Tom
