Its sorta git flow-ish at the moment, master is the 1.x release branch, development is the road to 2.x, I didn't want to bump the version to 2.0-SNAPSHOT because then what do you do before you get to 2.0? But we should probably do something with the versioning because 1.0 and 1.1 are confusing and will likely clash at some point.
