Hi All,

The Wish List has been boiled down into some high level requirements at
http://oopm.openoffice.org/files/documents/177/3890/OOPM_Requirements_v4.ods

I have put some suggestions for the content of the initial development release.
What I am suggesting is essentially getting the architecture down and adding a
Work Breakdown Structure as the visible interface to the architecture.

Here is a summary of the content I am suggesting:
a.. Work Breakdown Structure for entering and displaying project data
b.. support for multiple languages (presumably OO has some common mechanism
for achieving this)
  c.. OO look and feel
d.. save and load to/from a flat file, with modularity of the I/O interface
  e.. multi-platform from day 1
f.. an implicit requirement is that the data structure for storing the
project plan information will be defined
This is obviously a release that is heavy on the architecture and light on the
user functionality, but getting it right from the start will save a lot of
rework on subsequent development releases.

These are my suggestions. I certainly welcome your suggestions (OOPM belongs to
us, not me). I'd like to set a target for defining the 0.1 content of March
14th. If the discussions are fruitful we can extend this date, but setting a
date gives busy people like us something to aim for.

Regards,
Shawn
