I made some suggestions in the spreadsheet about what I thought would be
good for a 0.1 release. One addition would be an "undo/redo" functionality,
which would be easier to implement from Day 1 rather than retrofitting
later.
There hasn't been a lot of comments about my suggested roadmap. I don't know
if this is because the suggestions are good, or because people are too
overloaded to respond at this time, or because most people don't feel able
to take an active role in this project. I'd like to suggest that we slip the
date for comment to April 1st (from March 14th) to allow for any additional
comments. Specifically it would be good to hear your opinion on whether:
(a) the functionality Shawn suggested for the 0.1 Roadmap is fine, so let's
proceed
(b) the roadmap needs some changes, and here are my suggestions
Once we settle on the 0.1 roadmap, we'll want to develop some more detailed
requirements. I think we'll also want to "interview" for some senior
designers and a configuration manager.
