You are right. Found ThreadDumpServlet in
http://metrics.codahale.com/manual/servlets/#manual-servlets which provides
text output of thread dump. We can add that as well later by providing a
queryparam for plain output to this servlet and can invoke ThreadDumpServlet
and return its output in that case. We have this servlet in production for
months now and I have found it quite useful in debugging in production issues
and especially the html is very easy to navigate and faster for debugging.
