LGTM. I think this should help simplify the build.
I think the only way we can get rid of all of the hadooplibs stuff is by
dropping support for Hadoop 1.x and 0.23.x and only supporting Hadoop 2.x. I
imagine we'll do that eventually and greatly simplify things for us.
