Robert Kanter commented on OOZIE-2075:
--------------------------------------
As far as I'm aware, the launcher gets killed, but the actual jobs launched by
the launcher (or client, e.g. pig client, etc) do not; except for the MR
action. Hadoop kills the tasks in such a way that the shutdown hooks do not
get triggered (it does the equivalent of a "kill -9"). So, even though Pig has
a shutdown hook, in this case, it doesn't work.
We have OOZIE-1025 from quite a while ago to kill the actual jobs. Originally
this would be quite difficult to do, but with the YARN tags we added in, we
should be able to have the Oozie server find and kill the actual jobs; though
only on Hadoop 2.4.0+.

> gets killed while the other hadoop jobs keeps on running and only the
> workflow status gets changed to killed.
> Please add a feature to correct this behaviour.
