Hi,

I find it cumbersome to write Apache Oozie workflows in XML. It is a graph
and people draw it in their imagination first before drawing it with XML!
The workflow editor in Hue is doing a good job with cloud users. You are
also developing another web based editor (workflow generator
<https://github.com/apache/oozie/tree/master/workflowgenerator>). However,
if I'm writing a Hadoop job (or a Spark job), I'm going to write Java (or
Scala ...) in an IDE (like Eclipse) and I'd love to have my Oozie workflows
inside my IDE and may be in the same project repo managed by Git.

That was enough motivation to start an Oozie plugin for Eclipse. A lot of
features to come but here is a seed/POC free version
https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/oozie-eclipse-plugin.

Looking forward to having your precious feedback.
