Thanks for taking care of this. HBase 0.94 is pretty old now.
Two questions:
# Should {{ConnectionFactory.createConnection(jobConf);}} go into the {{try}}
block? i.e. can it throw a connection?
# Have you verified that this properly impersonates the user? We've had
problems with that in the past (see OOZIE-2419).
