Maybe I missed it but doesn't OOZIE-2243 use the yarn kill api? Does the code
from OOZIE-2243 only get run on a clean shutdown and not a hard kill then?
Which is why the shutdown hook is required.
We are working on implementing the shutdown hook in Spark but unfortunately its
not trivial so it taking longer then expected.
