[~asalamon74] below you can find my answers to your questions:
* I will check with JDK11 during OOZIE-3504. In this fix my purpose was to do
the upgrade, and to make everything with the new versions using JDK8
* You are right, we should use the newer version from branch 2. I have run
some tests manually with 2.28.2, they passed, let's see what the precommit will
show.
