Thank you [~asasvari] for the details. In this case we may need to escape
forward, upgrade to Hadoop3 which may fix the build issues no matter if there
are issues or not and then solve them one-by-one.
Let me find the related ticket, check the change, adjust it. If that works,
let's merge, if not, let's just upgrade to latest Hadoop 2 for now.
