There is a description in the voting mail. "The VOTE will be open for at least 72 hours and until the necessary number of votes are reached." Unless a critical security issue needs to be fixed in the release, we need to wait for at least 72 hours.
So, for the new release manager, please read about those templates and understand them. BTW, we also need to update our release guide with 72 hours rule for the new release manager to follow.
