GitHub user Xuanwo created a discussion: [ANNOUNCE] Release Apache OpenDAL
0.56.0

Hi all,

The Apache OpenDAL community is pleased to announce
that Apache OpenDAL 0.56.0 has been released!

OpenDAL is a data access layer that allows users to easily and efficiently
retrieve data from various storage services in a unified way.

The notable changes since 0.55.0 include:

1. Split Rust services and layers into independent crates, making dependency
selection more modular for downstream users.
2. Added and improved storage capabilities across services, including TOS
support, Foyer service/layer, Hotpath and Route layers, Swift TempURL/SLO
support, S3 ACL and checksum improvements, and richer user-defined metadata
support.
3. Improved language bindings, including Java stream performance and option
support, Python presign options, Node.js layer bindings, Go presign support,
and Ruby binding publishing.
