One more I remember now is how our security system works. I posted a
pretty long and detailed explanation to the list about how it worked
and how to extend it.

The CLI conversation you mention is a good one.
We've had some good conversations on the JNDI name strategy. I've
added some of the docs on that, but there are features mentioned in
that thread which aren't implemented yet such as the ability to
configure a jndi-name on each interface of a bean.
Not sure all the ideas of the conf/system.properties file made it
into the docs.
Gosh I know there's more but I'm drawing a blank.
We also have archives all over the place:

http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=openejb-
development
Oh! There has been some talk/explanation of the
openejb.deployments.classpath.include and
openejb.deployments.classpath.exclude properties which definitely
hasn't made it's way into the docs yet.
Will post if I think if anything else. More than anything we need
some people like Dario to keep posting the "I'm starting and I
don't how how to get to the next step" kind of emails. This will
happen more once we release. Hopefully we can get things mostly
squared away before then so we don't loose too many people on the
first couple releases.
One thing about our website is that things are pretty scattered and
I wonder if we wouldn't benefit from some sort of big user guide
page so it might be more clear where we have holes in our docs.

Hi All,
I need some tips on searching email archives. I know that there are
some discussions buried in the mail archives which could result in
some good documentation on the wiki. Can anybody provide me with any
tips on how I could perform a search with some meaninful results.
Also, if you remember any conversations which you feel could be
helpful for any kind of documentation, please do email the link on
the
list. Even if you do not remember the email, just some stuff on what
the email was about and maybe a couple of keywords, I will search for
it and extract the contents.
So, all you got to do is, "I remember something last year when we
were
discussing the CLI for openejb. That resulted in some interesting
options which led to the current CLI" . I can then perform the search
and extract the contents, better would be if you can point to the
exact email, but even if you dont find it, just a couple of lines
about it would be good.
Thanks for your help. Hopefully , I will start seeing some good
emails
flowing in :)
