I typically use cron, but there might be a continuum way to do it. The trick with publishing anything from continuum is that it is on a different machine than people.apache.org and the "who's user account do we use when pushing the data over" question usually becomes a showstopper. It's sort of a trick question anyway as infra is not ok with people sharing their account information with all the other continuum admins.

Using cron to *pull* things from continuum is certainly a possibility.

Also, what are people's thoughts on perhaps moving the code from the sandbox? Presumably we could do a formal release once some more features are implemented, and that would be the time to do it?

You're the expert here :) We can go ahead whenever you think it's ready. We'd probably also want to get it hooked up with it's own JIRA so it can have it's own versions and release notes.
