Hi Andy,

Regarding changes you did last days on poms, do you think i can still close

Hi Jean-Louis,

I have more uncommitted changes, but I will need a few more days (more than likely a week) until I am happy to commit them.

I am using the latest maven3 and would really like to get as many modules up to the latest release versions as possible without breaking the build. As you can imagine it's a slow and tedious process. I am also applying info learned at: http://www.sonatype.com/books/mvnex-book/reference/optimizing-sect-dependency-plugin.html step by step in order to declare dependencies (and move them up or exclude them where possible or required).

I now know that the 'Examples' are to remain as standalone modules, so they cannot have a parent pom, but everything else should be looking 'up' the pom tree for plugins and deps - This will enable the top level pom to dictate the plugin and dep version 'down' the tree.

It's going to be an ongoing process, but at the moment everything seems to be compiling and all tests completing. If you want to close the issue, or reassign it then that is fine by me.

Andy.
