Hi OEJB bros...

Recently it is being discussed on different mailing lists and different
threads the usage of Git as an alternative SCM besides/replacing SVN in
ASF. It is has been recommended to start with different TLP projects so we
can measure and put out hands on the detailed requirements and procedures
to help either already existing projects, whether TLP or Podlings, and
future projects to use Git if this is their favorite.

So I would like to propose OpenEJB as one of the TLP(s) to start with, and
I already was in contact with Paul Davis and I can and I will help in that
transition.

Thoughts ?

Subject: [PROPOSAL] Wicket to use Git@ASF

Infra,

The Wicket PMC would like to request that we be switched from SVN to Git.
I will volunteer to assist with this migration as well as with fixing any
problems we find with the Git-hosting-related code that Paul Davis and
others have so generously created. Others on the Wicket team may also be
able to help some.

Please let us know if you accept this proposal and what we need to do to
get started.

Best Regards,
Jeremy Thomerson
