Hello, We are experiencing a similar error here: .we use not Tomcat, but OpenEJB4 .The error is exactly the same.
.If we do not use static loggers in any of the beans used by our tests, the problem disappears. This is however a limitation, and I would like to know the reason (?) and a good solution. We use the same version of log4j (1.2.6) which is also in OpenEJB4. Do you have by accident included or do you use slf4j in your project???
