An after thought.. Vishwa, if you wanted to do an updated version of the "Getting Started With Apache TomEE server", I think it'd make for an excellent link in the right part of the downloads page. http://openejb.apache.org/downloads.html
There's definitely room there and a little "Getting started" video would be a great way to fill it. Some weeks ago I had someone hop on IRC and ask if it was normal to see the Tomcat landing page when visiting http://localhost:8080. Of course the answer is yes, but it did strike me how much people feel more comfortable "knowing" and a little video that shows download and startup is definitely a nice confirmation. Just some thoughts. Course anyone is welcome to make videos (one in each language could be cool). -David On Jan 24, 2012, at 12:02 AM, David Blevins wrote: > Have a blog post ready to go, here's the preview: > > https://blogs.apache.org/preview/openejb/?previewEntry=apache_tomee_1_0_0 > > Feel free to suggest changes, or make changes (grab the test, edit, send back > to the list or check in somewhere).
