2007-10 Status Report for the Apache OpenJPA Project Highlights
OpenJPA has shipped its first release as a TLP, called OpenJPA 1.0.0. There are no board issues at the moment. Community OpenJPA email continues its strong activity on both the dev and user aliases. OpenJPA will be presenting a Fast Feather talk at ApacheCon US 2007. GovernanceThe PMC has voted to grant commit privileges to Albert Lee ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
The PMC continues to track contributors with an eye toward making them committers, and committers PMC members. Releases OpenJPA 1.0.0 has shipped. A maintenance branch 1.0.x (yes, really) currently is tracking bugs fixed in the trunk and currently has a few dozen patches. Once a need for a release is identified, a volunteer will be recruited to release the update while work goes on in the trunk.
