This looks and sounds like something worthwhile to pursue.

To be honest, I am more interested in getting the builds and test buckets
run against Oracle on a regular basis.  Derby gets used by everybody and we
tend to cover the IBM databases.  Any chance you can set your system up to
run against Oracle?

Also, I know that access to the TCK is an issue for many of the OpenJPA
developers.  So, unless someone else speaks up, I don't know if you would
get any takers on that one.
