Unless you are saying that Java 5 is still a requirement for you... :-) To be honest, if Java 5 is a requirement, I'd point you at previous versions of OpenJPA that still support Java 5. But, I'd still be curious if you have environments that require Java 5 and OpenJPA 2.x.
