Most definitely, Mark. I don't see a need to use that old dependency. Use
the newer one that is in Maven.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] ibm uow_api dependency

hi folks!

We have an ancient dependency on uow (Unit Of Work api) in OpenJPA. This
is hosted via some 'seasar' page. The last update to this artefact was
in2007. And today there seems to have been an outage of that repo which
broke our build.

We are using the UOWManager in WASRegistryManagedRuntime. I did a search
on maven.central and it seems that IBM now published their API under
EPL-1.0 on maven.central under com.ibm.websphere.appserver.api.
Wouldn't it be better to switch to this maven coordinate?
It's a 'provided' dependency anyway...

Liegrue,
