According to debug
https://github.com/solomax/openjpa-postre17-demo/blob/main/src/main/resources/META-INF/persistence.xml#L40
works as expected: SCHEMA/TABLE name is preserved

The entity is being created

The only issue I can see so far: SchemaTool unable to understand there
is no need to create DB TABLE on subsequent call
I'll try to check it a bit later

Please let me know what should I change to see what is wrong :)))
