The grammar build emitted six warnings; it now emits none. Two came from `JDK_VERSION=17`, which JavaCC 5.0 rejects because it types the value by the class of the option default (a String), so the value has always been discarded — byte-comparing the generated sources with and without it shows no difference, and the option is dropped. The four choice conflicts were investigated one by one: in `orderby_item` the default resolution was the intended parse and is now explicit, but the arithmetic ones were masking a real bug — the left-recursion-elimination rewrite made the nested call swallow the following operator, so `a - b - c` parsed as `a - (b - c)` and `a / b / c` as `a / (b / c)`. Both productions now iterate on the operator, which removes the conflict and makes those operators left-associative; parser-level and query-level tests pin the associativity and the unchanged precedence, and the behaviour change is release-noted. Verified on Derby, H2, PostgreSQL 11, MariaDB 11.8 a nd MySQL 8: 193 JPQL tests each, every remaining failure reproduced on unmodified master with the same container. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
