The idea (limiting equals/hashCode to identifier fields) still looks reasonable, but the patch is based on 3.0.0 and doesn't apply to master. It also undoes unrelated things (`@Deprecated`, `serialVersionUID`, formatting) and includes the SQLXML change from #110. Could you rebase it to just the equals/hashCode change, ideally with a test?
