Hi, I have questions about functionality and services around OpenLayers.
I would like to do a small prototype on some of the functionality in OpenLayers. I do not have the sparetime or deeper knowledge on OpenLayers to work on this myself so I ask if there are resources out there who can do some consulting work. Im sorry if its the wrong place to ask for this in this forum. Most of what I need can be found in the examples that are delivered together with the source. But Im not sure how to fit it all together. I need more documentation to do that myself. What I need is the following: A Background Layer that uses my own ESRI ArcGIS Server Map Cache. This is done and works nearly perfect. On top of this I need to show points, lines and polys that should be rendered with SVG. This data are stored in a database-table on the server. This data are dynamic and should be updated every 15 second. For each object I need to have a mouseOver and mouseClick Event to show a tooltip. Each object should also be differently rendered with symbols defined by the data in the database. Possible extra step: As a separate prototype or just test of concept I would like to integrate ESRIs WEB-adf for ArcGIS-Server with OpenLayers capability to render objects in the client. So I would use ESRI WEB-adf to draw the background Map Cache. On top of this I would like to draw dynamic data with SVG using OpenLayers as decribed above. Perhaps this is to complicated to do. I f you have ideas or suggestions on this and have time to spend, please send me an email with your ideas and a budget for your work. If this is the wrong forum for asking for this type of support please give a hint on where to go.
