And this is the reason why Tim and Chris urged me to get rid of it, which I did. So hopefully, things are a dramatically faster now than with the old eval() code. As I said, the Firebug profiler now shows no performance differences between the gml-renderer.html example and gml-layer-sld.html when zooming in once from the initial view. But of course, there are only three features to check. The first revision using the new rule evaluation code is r4746.
