Do you see the problem on FireFox 2? In MapFish, we used to mix OpenLayers and Dojo and we had problems of that sort. See <http://trac.mapfish.org/trac/mapfish/browser/trunk/MapFishSample/mapfishsample/public/examples/search/c2corg.html> for a workaround. For the record, we no longer use Dojo and have switched to Ext.
