Mapbuilder has a requirement to maintain a Geoserver instance for the Mapbuilder demos, and we do this on the OSGeo servers. We map to them from http://demo.communitymapbuilder.org
It may be helpful for us share the geoserver example. Matt Diez, CCed, is the guy who has been looking after the Mapbuilder demos for us and may have more to say.
