http://trac.openlayers.org/wiki/SummerOfCode/Proposals
On Monday, OSGeo will be decideding how to rank their total of 54 applications to Summer of Code. However, in the next 24 hours, our administrator wants a count of how many projects we 'want'. (http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/soc/2008-April/000257.html) Looking at the list, all other things being equal, I could see that we could want 4-5 projects here: more than that, and we'd have too many for mentors, I think, and fewer than that, and I think we could be missing out on valuable development. Does this match up to what others think? Also, please check out the proposals and help score them. Also, if you're on the list, please feel free to campaign for your project! :) Regards, -- Christopher Schmidt MetaCarta _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list Dev@openlayers.org http://openlayers.org/mailman/listinfo/dev
