My little summary: Doing circles with map using mouse...
...on first PC (Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz, 1GB RAM, Windows XP SP2): - Safari 3: almost no difference - FF2: noticeable difference (map makes little jumps now and then without patch) - IE7: big difference (map jumps now and then without patch) - IE6: huge difference (map only jumps without patch) - Opera 9: clear difference (map makes jumps now and then without patch) ...on second PC (Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz, 1GB RAM, Windows XP SP2): - FF2: noticeable difference (map makes little jumps now and then without patch) - IE7: big difference (map jumps now and then without patch) My friends can feel the difference on their machines too. Believe me, this problem is significant not only for me. I need good-feeling solution on most of the platforms. It is all based on: "It's just not as comfortable as GoogleMaps". I will be glad to help with implementing such kind of patch - if there is will.
