If you look at openlayers > examples > custom control.panel in internet explorer 6. Every map action (zoom, pan, select control) causes all the tool-images to reload. Anybody an idea how to prevent this (besides creating a-non-openlayers-panel). I noticed the editing toolbar (to which you can add custom controls also) does not have this behaviour.
