Hi, For 2.8 RC6, we have a copule fixes for important issues affecting the community. In general, I'd have avoided these issues in this late of an RC, but they both seem low risk and high benefit.
* IE8 VML support outside of compatibility mode * IE7 strict mode VML text Additionally, we have: * Fix Opera 9.27 support * Fix for a minor ArcIMS / ARcXML issue. The IE8 VML changes are more significant than I would generally allow for a non-regression, but significant testing thanks to the community makes me comfortable including the changes in 2.8. I'd like to propose that once Andreas commits #1910, we roll on 2.8 RC6, in hopes that it's our last our RC. (I think it better be at this point :)) All in favor? All opposed?
