I've been looking at Piero Campa's code for handling vector drawing the 180 line is within the mapextent. If the 180 line is present, then drawing only works on the eastern side of the line.
Ideally, the code handling for IDL should be part of Path, Polygon, Regular Polygon and Box. First question though is about globals. The code needs to know what 180 degree of longitude is in projected coordinates. Rather than making this a property of each handler, it would be make sense for this to be global variable and calculated only when projection changes. Should this be added as a property of map?
