Dear Maxim,

Here are further tests that we conducted to narrow down the cause of the issue of why File Explorer does not show public and home drives. Everything works as expected in ‘CentOS 6.5 + JDK 7u67’ environment. Binaries distributions working fine in “CentOS 7 + JDK 7u76” environment.

Error: In “CentOS 7 + JDK 7u76” environment, three Web service features not working when compiled from fresh source code and installed.

Seeking guidance:

   · Why is OpenMeetings not able to find WSDL file when compiled
   in this environment?
   · Would any change in the configuration parameters or mapping
in axis2.xml, services.xml or Web.xml help find the service EPR?
   · What is the process of finding WSDL file by OpenMeetings?

=========

Detailed test results:

Server 1: CentOS 6.5 + JDK 7u67

Everything works as expected for versions 3.0.3 and 3.0.4.

·Installed binaries distributions from:
a) Apache Web site
b) From a distribution compiled in this internal server

·Source code compiled after many customizations in code and installed

Server 2: CentOS 7 + JDK 7u76

Installed binary distributions of 3.0.4, 3.0.3 fresh from Apache Web site and also after compilation from another internal server
(with and without our custom source code changes)

·Shows File explorer drives

·Shows WSDL file in URL (yourserver:5080/[OM_Context]/services/FileService?wsdl)

·One time invitation works perfect (even when ‘Generate URL’ is clicked before ‘Send’)

Problem

Server 2: CentOS 7 + JDK 7u76

Compiled HERE from source code and installed: versions 3.0.3. and 3.0.4. Even WITHOUT any changes in source code.

· FAILED to show File Explorer drives
· FAILED to show WSDL file (file not found error)
· Error: Says One-time invitation “ALREADY USED” (when ‘Generate URL’ is clicked before ‘Send’)

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dear Maxim and Fellow OpenMeetings Developers,

Regarding your question, we have not changed anything. We have used
clean OpenMeetings-3.0.4 source code and compiled it. The only change
is that the instance giving error is running Centos-7 (instead of
Centos-6.5) and using JDK-7.0.76 (instead of JDK-7.0.67).

In the server instance with Centos-6.5 and JDK-7.0.67, we are NOT
getting this error.

We found from Axis.Apache.org the following message. Based on this
additional information are there any other pointers?

“Receive internal server error page when I try to view the WSDL file. The
reason is that the system picks up a wrong TRANSFORMER FACTORY CLASS. “

To solve it, some people suggested to put the xalan-2.7.0.jar
<http://www.apache.org/dist/java-repository/xalan/jars/> into the
axis2/WEB-INF/lib directory. In our instance, this file exists in the
right directory.

Thank you.
Sincerely,
