...i think that any installation of servers or of any other software, should be as simple as possible, and once installed, the user already has more self-confidence regarding software, then use the corresponding tools for lots of testing.
In my opinion, put that tool during the installation process the software, is complicating the user. Always thinking of newbies. So we understand it, for me: newbie = person have not any experience about installation of any server. new user = person that have an experience about installing servers. Technically the best is what you say, but practically and thinking it is always in newbies, make difficult it the installation by putting more steps. In summary, think that this tool should be in OpenMeetings after you login, not before. And not find very acceptable force users to pass by all the steps without requiring it, being able to give them another option. It is only an opinion. ..........................
